Use it or lose, the saying goes.
I say many clients who are having penis problems either and ask me if lingam massage will help.
Apart from a straight yes or no there are many answers I could opt for and the two most honest ones are:
a) it might do, it all depends on the cause
b) you should see a doctor.
but there are also these thoughts:
c) I don't know but it can't hurt to try!
d) Why not have fun trying?
While I have seen people with many different issues and concerns the two most common are:
- they can't get or maintain an erection
- they have problems related to orgasms (eg: too soon or can't achieve one).
First, let's make sure you understand a few of the basics:
1. Even if you can't get an erection things can still feel great. You can still have an orgasm.
2. Orgasm and ejaculation aren't the same thing. Some men have orgasms without ejaculating.
3. Whatever is going on in your mind can have an impact on performance. If may be that you need to relax and overcome your mental block. It sounds easy, but it isn't.
4. Problems might be a symptom of a medical issue. You should see a doctor if this persists.
How Might Lingam Massage Help with Erectile Dysfunction?
Some clients have a partner but come to visit me to test out how their body reacts with someone else away from the pressure to give a great performance.
It is worth noting that as I stay clothed and only use hands many clients feel very safe with me and do not feel they are "cheating". Many clients have also discussed their visit to me with their partners.

Regular or frequent lingam massage treatment may also help some people - this doesn't have to be visiting a service provider but can include Do It Yourself.

Unfortunately may people are weighed down with guilt and shame when it comes to the subject of sex or masturbation.
I have seen clients who have not had any sexual outlet for years. They want sex, but because they don't have a willing partner they are celibate.
Celibacy is perfectly okay for some people some of the time - if it suits you that's great. But it stands to reason that if a part of your body isn't used for a long time it isn't going to perform like an athlete when it is called upon to do a job after months or years of neglect.
If you sat in a chair for a year do you think you'd be able to get up and walk a mile one day?
Sexual pleasure is okay.
It is natural.
It is healthy.
No one should feel pressured into sex or masturbation, but people should feel okay about enjoying these things - in private - obviously!
We have two sayings:
* use if or lose it
* practice makes perfect.
So, using that part of your body should be considered as part of your regular exercise regime and you can exercise at home alone. I don't recommend you do this in a public gym!

Now, one last thing about how visiting me might help some clients.
For some people it is not the massage itself but the chance to talk with someone - a complete stranger outside of your normal life - about these things. Some of my clients are receiving medical care, and have supportive partners and therapists but it can be good to just talk to someone else. I can't promise all tantric massage therapists will provide a good ear or have the time to talk but I certainly do my best.
Most of the time I will have spare time between sessions to talk (and there is no time limit and no extra charge) but occasionally I'll be pressed for time so if you know you'd like extra talking time it is always worth letting me know in an email message when you make the booking.
